As a Senior Associate at Sasaki, Nick was project manager for the Phase 1 Implementation of Greenwood Community Park during construction through closeout - serving as the prime consultant for a $55 million scope of work that included an extensive Zoo Renovation, Adventure Playground, Bayou Restoration, and New Road / Parking Infrastructure.

Upstream floodplain management is strengthened by increasing capacity for flood storage through stream realignment and recharging historic meanders.

For 50+ years the Zoo and Park functioned separately. The Phase 1 project flips the front entrance of the Zoo to open into the Park, creating a new civic heart anchored by an Adventure Playground and new road infrastructure.
